The Book of Tarot holds great secrets and fascinating experiences for those willing to listen to the messages.

If the mind is permitted to be clear and shimmering, like a polished mirror reflecting the glittering light of the moon & stars, the Book of Tarot Involves us in fascinating sequences wherein the echoes of understanding may be clearly heard in their faint delicacy. Whispering to us are elusive mysteries which by virtue of images that speak through the cards unveil themselves if we are but aware of how to look.

By doing a reading in a sincere manner with a heart that is open, we may be permitted to enter into a private exchange. Very intimate aspects of a person’s existence may be directly revealed to us if we are but willing to pay attention!!

The Tarot also can mirror us. When one has gained experience with the art, it can be noted that the many readings we turn over for others become each and every one a reading for ourselves. In a seemingly unrelated stretch of readings, often common themes may emerge, which by revealing a glimpse of the totality of the self, instruct us on our own issues. These life lessons, which could be affectionately called “echoes of the heart,” should be taken into consideration subjectively in the deepest possible manner.

Sometimes we encounter in our clients resistance to what we are doing; it seems that this occurs when there is a lack of ease between the reader and subject. Often if the reader is insincere, the person on the other end of the line can hear it unconsciously and will reflect this in their openness. This in turn will disable the ability to achieve any level of accuracy.

There must be a rapport established between the two people involved with each other in this confidential dialogue. The client must be made to feel the authentic Interest of the Tarot reader; otherwise all else will be lost. We must remain conscious of the fact that the other voice is coming from another human being, flesh and blood, just like myself and yourself. What is shared between two people in any relationship is humanity. The instant that this is taken for granted it will leave on its own accord, and without this crucial element all else is useless.

A person can feel if you are interested in them–and you are if success is your aim in this endeavor–and of course they will respond accordingly to this.

Intuitive flashes illuminate the reading and accent it, combined with a thorough approach that takes into account the meaning of every card in relationship to the reading and the spread that expresses it. Through these tools of self-awareness, a return to becoming a more effective reader can be accomplished in measures that ever increase.
