Describe how you first found out about your psychic abilities.

My gifts came as a complete surprise to everyone in my family, or so I thought.

When I turned 12, strange things started happening. First I started being visited my by older brother, who had passed away in a tragic accident 3 years earlier. It felt natural to me, we would talk and kid each other just like we did when he was alive.

Next I started having dreams about things that would come true the very next day. That sort of scared me at first, and anyone I told didn’t believe me. So I began to write down my dreams right away, and when my parents started to finally realize what was happening, they tried to cover it up. I think it scared them more than anything.

It was hard… for about a year I had to keep everything to myself, even as my visions grew more and more powerful. I started getting premonitions of what was about to happen even when I was awake. It started getting out of control, and I became quite ill.

This was when my grandmother stepped in. It turns out she too was psychic, and had gone through exactly what I was going through when she was about the same age. She was able to help me focus my energies so I could gain control of my psychic abilities. She helped me understand how my abilities were a gift that came with a great responsibility to help others.

She passed away a couple of months later. At first she would visit me quite regularly, continuing to help me develop my psychic skills. Eventually she came to me less frequently. I still get visitations from her occasionally, every 2 or 3 years.

What have you done to develop your abilities?

After my grandmother passed away, I started trying to learn everything I could about the metaphysical world. I was lucky to live a 15 minute bike-ride from a new-age bookstore, where I became very interested in the Tarot and Numerology.

During summers in high-school, I had a part-time job at the store as a sales clerk. Eventually I started giving readings there, and had such a following that they set me up with my own reading room.

I’ve always continued learning… there is so much information that it is impossible for any one person to obtain it all, but its my mission to try!

Describe your skills.

Ok, so I used to provide readings in-person, face to face. However, I had two instances where I read for someone whose energy was so dark, I’d even describe it as evil, that went really bad for me. Their dark energy was so overpowering, it really knocked me out for days.

After the second time that happened, I dreaded providing readings. I discovered that reading for people over the phone worked better… there was almost a “filter” that kept me from being overwhelmed by the other person’s energy, and more able to tune-into their reading. I was back to providing amazing readings and helping lots of people.

Unfortunately, over time my sensitivities adjusted, and I started having the same problems. So I developed a way to provide readings by email, and I’ve been amazed at how well it works.

First, my client provides a few basic baseline answers to questions like “what’s your favorite color?” and “what’s your favorite season?”. These questions help me tune-in to their specific energy.

Next, the client chooses which type of reading they want. I offer a question/answer reading, a 12-month forecast reading or a relationship compatibility report.

After reading the client’s responses, I immediately start getting a visual that helps me see answers to their questions. Depending upon the reading, I may then use tarot cards, numerology or other tools to round out the reading.

The final result is a nice, well-written response that provide the client with the exact information they need.

Can you communicate with spirits who have passed on?

Yes, I can. However, it’s not something I’m doing by request at this point in my life. I find that when I open the doors of communication to reach through to the other side, much more comes out then I can sometimes handle.

The last time I tried communicating with the spirit of someone who had passed, things went pretty bad. My client asked me to connect with her husband who had died 10 days earlier. I immediately connected to him, and started sharing messages between husband and wife. It was as amazing, emotional and humbling as ever to act as a final link between two people whose love was broken by death.

However, about 5 minutes into the reading, I felt a sudden rush of dark energy. What I understand happened was several dark-spirits “piggy-backed” on my connection to the other-side, and entered our world un-invited. I broke my connection, but it was too late.

I know the dark spirits did a lot of damage in our world. Within 24 hours, there were 2 murders and 4 other deaths in our small town that hadn’t seen a murder in over a decade!

I decided at this point not to attempt to connect the other side. I do still talk to spirits… mostly those who have recently died and are still hanging around. They come to me and I try to help.

Are you able to turn your psychic abilities ‘on’ or ‘off’ when you want to?

This used to be very hard. As a kid I couldn’t turn them off, and it became so overwhelming it made me ill. After my grandmother taught me how to be more in-control, I am able to set up walls to protect myself.

However, they are never really off, and I always have to be on-guard. There are times where there is such a strong expression of energy that I can literally be knocked off my feet.

What is life like living with these abilities?

It’s really made me a bit of a recluse! I have a small group of close friends, but I am hesitant to go out and meet new people. In my efforts to find goodness and harmony in the world, I’ve come face-to-face with evil, staring it down but feeling like I barely survived.

It might sound dramatic, but its my life! I’ve chosen to limit my connection with the outside world, and focus on helping as many people as possible through my e-mail readings.

What do you like best about working with PsychicNetworkers?

When I started providing telephone readings, I began working with PsychicNetworkers because they had the best opportunities available. I’ve enjoyed working with them all these years… the support is amazing and they care about their psychics and customers alike.

It was tough when I could no longer work on their phone lines, but they were very understanding. They worked with me to find another way to provide my services, and today I am able to fully support myself doing what I love!

Do you get readings for yourself?

I do! I love getting readings. I probably call or video chat with another psychic at least once a week.

Its funny, because although I can see clearly the future for my clients, I almost always get it wrong for myself. Talking to a psychic helps me find clarity and see my own path more clearly.

Sometimes I choose to speak to an Astrologer because I really love the information they provide. Its something I can’t seem to really do myself… I’ve tried but my mind just doesn’t process the information!

Is there anything else you would like to share about your abilities?

I live in a huge Victorian-era home on about 5 acres, along with my fiance and our 3 dogs, 2 cats and several fish. I support our little family through my psychic readings. My main hobby right now is restoring our beautiful house. I’m a big movie geek… in fact the first room I completed in my house is a small home theater!
