Interview With a Tarot Master: Khan-Ra

Describe how you first found out about your psychic abilities.

I’ve always had abilities. It never occurred to me growing up that not everyone had access to the same things I did. I think I was very lucky growing up because I was never discouraged by adults. The first person to acknowledge and put a name to my talents was a kindly librarian I knew at my local library when I was 10 years old. She became the first person I officially read for, relaying information to her from her mother who had passed beyond the veil. She fostered my interests and directed my personal studies.

Psychic ability runs to varying degrees on both sides of my family, each person having specialties like telepathy, “finding,” energy work, and odd things like knowing what someone ate the day before. Of course, being dishonest or playing parents off each other to get something just didn’t happen.

The most important thing I learned about my abilities is that I have them in order to help others, and this is very satisfying for me.

What have you done to develop your abilities?

Aside from training in the Tarot, I have studied Numerology, Color Science and Chakra work, Religious Science and Comparative Religion, Astrological Trending, Crystal and Stone work, metaphysical causation, among many other areas of psychic development. I find that the more I learn, the more there is to learn. I am, like everyone else, always learning, ever evolving.

I am also an ordained ULC minister. I have taught classes on Numerology, Color Science and Life Direction Development; given the Serpent Fire seminar, guided meditations, and weekly metaphysical discussion groups; and have been the house psychic for several bookstores.

Describe your skills.

From the moment I hear the client’s voice, I connect with his or her energy. As I consult the tarot. I usually am given certain key pieces of information to relay immediately to ensure that I am connected properly. Sometimes it will be specific to their personality, or how their day has gone so far, or an obstacle or issue they are trying to handle; it could be anything. Sometimes it is a specific message from my guides in terms of encouragement. As we progress, I relay the specific conditions, personalities, obstacles that effect the desired outcome. At any time, the client may ask for clarification. I am generally very holistic in my approach, looking at all areas the client’s experience. I will use any and all of my skills to find the best possible answer to any given situation.

Many times, Life presents us with alternatives. I will explore these as they present themselves. Additionally, as it may be appropriate, I will create a unique affirmation for the client to assist them in bringing about better conditions and outcomes.

We are given psychic gifts not simply to know about problems or events in advance, but to have the opportunity to avoid problems, prevent them, and to improve our lives. My goal is to help the client bring about the best Life has to offer them.

Are you able to turn your psychic abilities ‘on’ or ‘off’ when you want to?

My abilities are generally “on” all the time, similar to a computer subroutine always running in the background but immediately accessible when needed. One of the benefits of having practiced and studied for more than forty years, is that rituals or routines that took some time to complete are now a thought process of a few seconds. This allows me more quality time with the client.

What is life like living with these abilities?

Generally speaking, no life is perfect, but having my abilities has been a blessing. It has allowed me to make wonderful friends all over the world in many different cultures. It has proven to me beyond all doubt that we are all the same, have the same needs, and that basically, people are inherently good.

Do you think anyone can develop psychic skills?

I do believe that to a greater or lesser degree, all people are sensitive. The development of psychic skills is just like any other ability, it takes passion and patience for the subject.

I believe that anyone with a sincere desire, open mind and patient follow-through will be drawn to the right materials and teachers when they are ready.

Do you get readings for yourself?

I don’t usually get readings because there is a steady stream of information at all times. Sometimes information may be confusing, vague or hard to interpret. At those times, I will seek another psychic out for clarification.

I think I’m probably a very easy read, unless it has to do with a confidential subject (like a client reading), and then a big block wall will come up that no one gets through. That’s a very important issue for me. Whatever I read, whatever the client shares with me, is private, sacred.

Is there anything else you would like to share about your abilities?

While I cannot go into any details, three recent cases come to mind.

The first case has to do with a young lady who was suddenly laid-off from her job. Naturally, she was quite distraught. After we got her calmed down, we consulted the tarot to find out her best course of action. She found and started her job within 10 days and is extremely happy with her new employer and increase in salary.

The second case has to do with a young student of mine who, while happily employed, wanted to earn extra money. My guides pointed out to him his passion for online gaming and collectibles. He now makes several hundred dollars in additional income per month with online trading.

The third case involves an older divorcee desiring romance. The tarot advised that a change of attitude and certain behaviors would be beneficial in her search for a mate. Working with specific affirmations that utilized her fabulous energy, she now has several suitors to choose from and is well on her way toward finding romantic happiness.
