Interview With a Tarot Master: Karen

Describe how you first found out about your psychic abilities.

My mother was always interested in the psychic world, and took me to meetings with psychics when as a little girl. I was an actress in New York City in the 70’s, and an actor friend of mine read tarot. He read tarot for me and other friends. In 1975 I took the est training, and through exercises there, I realized I have psychic ability. The training ended at 5 AM on a Sunday night. The next morning I went out to a store on Broadway and purchased a deck of the Aquarian Tarot, which jumped out at me. I went to a restaurant with the deck, and gave accurate readings to my actor friend and several others. I ended up reading 20 hours a week on television, and in upscale restaurants in New York and for private clients and corporate events. Today in Florida I still read using the Aquarian Tarot deck.

What have you done to develop your abilities?

I studied mediumship with Dr. Hedy Milicevic in New York, and often traded readings with other psychics at the Renaissance Festival in the summers at Tuxedo, New York. I went to many New Age workshops, and have an extensive collection of metaphysical books.

Describe your skills.

When I do a reading, I enter into an alternate state of reality that happens when I pick up the tarot deck. I draw on my experience of a long history of professions. I was an actress, producer and writer in the theater, and then produced and hosted three television shows with New Age themes. I was the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act (CETA) Arts Director for the State of New York for three years, with offices at the New York State Council On The Arts. During that time, I facilitated a hundred million dollars of funding into jobs for artists. I also spent three years as a stock broker. Later, in Florida, I became a Realtor. I’m currently with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Florida Realty, and use my psychic ability in buying and selling homes. I have an uncanny ability to find the right homes for my clients. I have the same knack in finding the right answers when my tarot clients ask for guidance.

Can you communicate with spirits who have passed on?

I have communicated with both my deceased father and mother, but with the help of other psychics who were holding the space.

Are you able to turn your psychic abilities ‘on’ or ‘off’ when you want to?

I always have psychic intuition, and it becomes noticeable when I start to shuffle the tarot deck. In my normal everyday life, I am conscious of trying to reach for the highest choices in everything I do.

What is life like living with these abilities?

I find that in my life I am naturally compatible with some people, and not with others. This can limit my circle of friends. With some people, I develop deep friendships quickly, that last over time. Some of these people are lifelong friends, and the others disappear. With me, love and respect are always at the bottom of my relationships.

Do you think anyone can develop psychic skills?

We all probably have some psychic ability, but we need to be self-aware to develop our relationships with others. I found that my class on mediumship helped me to develop those abilities.

What do you like best about working with PsychicNetworkers?

I like being able to read people who may feel isolated and need support. My customers know that their secrets are safe with me, and they can develop an ongoing relationship with me with no fear of criticism. I encourage my clients, and give them a sounding board for their aspirations.

Do you get readings for yourself?

I always used to exchange readings with other readers, but I don’t have the opportunity now. I’ve been thinking about getting readings from some of the other psychics on the network, and will do that. I’m an easy read. The trouble is in acting on the knowledge that I get. I think I have all of the answers to my questions already in my subconscious mind. I can read for myself. The difficulty is always in taking the necessary action to achieve results. This goes for me and for everybody that I read. Telling it like it is is easy. Changing it is the challenge.

Is there anything else you would like to share about your abilities?

I think everyone is unique. Recognizing that in others and acknowledging it is a special gift that I have developed through my life experience.
