Describe how you first found out about your psychic abilities.

I first started to notice my abilities right around puberty. It started with dreams. I would have these intense and vivid dreams all the time. But what really made me realize something more was going on was when they started to come true. It was not exactly like the dream of course.

A good example was when I was 13 I had a dream that this man who was a friend of the family stopped by and he was being driven by another man who I did not know. They pulled in the driveway in a huge older style black Cadillac car. The man I knew got out followed by the driver who was a tall man with blond shaggy hair and a black cap turned backward. He had on a long black trench coat. I could not see his face though it was completely blurred out. In the dream the men meant to do us harm. It was very scary and I woke up in a cold sweat and terrified.

I told my mother about it the next day and she said it was pretty creepy but we all just brushed it off as a dream. The next week however, a large black Cadillac pulled up and the friend of the family got out followed by a young man in his 20’s who fit the description of the man in my dream perfectly. Down to the clothing, hat and hair. I of course panicked and locked myself in my bedroom and would not come out. My mom started to wonder what was going on and asked me to join them for dinner. I refused and told her about the dream. She then mentioned it to the friend and the young man. The man felt so bad he came and told me he was not a bad guy and gave me a $20 bill. So luckily the dream did not turn out EXACTLY how it had played out in my mind. But that was the first time I knew without a doubt that these feelings and thoughts and dreams I had were not just random coincidence.

What have you done to develop your abilities?

To develop my abilities I have done the best thing I know. Use them! I use my cards daily and meditate. I have joined in with others who share my abilities and others of their own and we practice with each other often and attempt to stretch our limits with exercises and tests we create for each other. I have also taken some workshops at my local psychic shop to practice things like psychometry, remote viewing, and various other things.

Describe your skills.

Typically when I am reading for other people I use tarot cards and oracle cards. I don’t usually use a spread. I just lay out three cards and build from there. I also let the cards choose themselves rather than just going in order. I let the deck decide where to split and what card to lay. I can do other types of readings. Remote viewing and tuning into people or places is one of the abilities I can use at will. I don’t tend to use those for readings as it takes up more time and I have to sit quietly for a bit to get a good view of what it is that I am looking at. For those willing to wait or be patient it works well. I use those more with in person or email readings where I have more time and am able to really focus.

Can you communicate with spirits who have passed on?

I can communicate with spirits of people who have passed. But unlike some mediums who can do this at will, for me it comes when the spirit wants it to. Typically when I enter a home and there are spirits there that have not crossed over I can usually connect with them and communicate with them. But people who have already crossed over usually I only get messages from them in dreams or if they seek me out to pass along a message to their loved ones.

Are you able to turn your psychic abilities ‘on’ or ‘off’ when you want to?

I have yet to master turning my abilities OFF. But honestly I don’t think I would want to. There are very few occasions I find it bothersome. There has been a few times in the past where I didn’t really want or need to know what some other people REALLY thought of me but I was able to sense it anyhow. But typically I welcome all messages I get and I take each one as a blessing and I am thankful that I have learned to recognize them all so well.

What is life like living with these abilities?

I feel blessed that I get to live with these abilities. It feels like I am living in a world full of wonder and magic. There is a wonderful feeling knowing without a shadow of a doubt that there is indeed life after death and that we are able to communicate with that other side and that there is indeed something out there that is bigger then we are. It puts at ease so many of the typical fears people have and it helps with loved ones that have gone to know that they are still out there, and can still come through to us if we really need them. I would not change a thing.

Do you think anyone can develop psychic skills?

I do think that everyone one is born with these abilities. Some are just more open to them and look for and at them where others just excuse them off from an early age as nothing. And with any skill or muscle , you have to use it or you lose it. I mean yes some people are born more open than others, just like with any skill or talent. Some it comes natural and others have to work harder and more at it. But anyone out there is able to do this. You just have to keep an open mind and heart and learn to listen with your soul rather than your eyes and ears. You will be amazed what you can see.

What do you like best about working with PsychicNetworkers?

I love working with Psychic Networkers because it makes it easier to get to know people and help those who are in need of guidance or advice. It opens me up to the world rather than just those who are local to me. It is such a rewarding opportunity.

Do you get readings for yourself?

I do often get readings for myself. That is actually how I landed in this line of work. I was told multiple times by other readers I was wasting my gifts and I needed to use them to help others. When looking for a reader I look for ones who are genuine first and foremost. There are a lot of frauds in this line of work and sometimes it can be hard to distinguish them from the real deal. I also like readers who are easy to talk to. Who are calm and warm. I love getting readings from a variety of readers and experiencing their differing techniques and skills. Readers and their readings are just as vast and unique as the people giving them. I can read for myself but I tend to miss the REAL message the cards are trying to give me and tend to make up my own mind what it wants to say. We can be very bias when attempting to read for ourselves.
