Describe how you first found out about your psychic abilities.

I had my first spiritual experience at my mother’s church when I was five. I remember looking out the window into a cemetery where several people were gathered, mourning. I saw a man standing next to a tree when he turned and looked at me. When I turned to leave, I saw the same man standing behind me.

I looked up to heaven and told him he needed to go there. He wouldn’t go. I started feeling things that I knew weren’t mine. It was like I was living his life, his feelings became my own. This experience led to more spiritual encounters.

Due to my mother’s strict belief system, my abilities were not supported, so I kept my experiences to myself. When I was nine, a female spirit came to me. I could not see her, but I could hear her. I used to think she was my guardian angel because every time she came to me, I always felt safe, like everything was ok. We moved soon after and I never heard her again, but I continued to have experiences.

I continued to have more spiritual encounters and my sensitivity to emotions continued to grow. I had no idea what was going on, I just thought I was cursed. I had nobody to go to nor did I understand. When I was 12, I found a group of friends that were into something they called “the game.” The ultimate mission was really to stop the “end of times” prophesy by fighting against the forces of evil so they come here and take over.

The method was fighting in your sleep, kind of like a real life version of the Freddy Krueger movie, dream warriors, your dreams becoming the playing field. It’s sounds fun, but I was so naive I didn’t understand the danger’s of astral projection to a place like could be, nor did I understand the real life physical effects it would have on my body. Once I was in, I couldn’t get back out.

I played for 4 years, each year gaining more control and understanding of the astral plane, but it wasn’t without a price. The entities they talk about on shows like “The Haunting” seems like child’s play compared to the things we unintentionally conjured. The one thing we were trying to prevent, turned into the things we ultimately brought forth. I was told I could never get out.

One night, my last night, I remember laying in bed and I surrounded by shadows. I was so scared. I closed my eyes and called upon God, my Divine being and made a promise. If he would send them away and help me leave, I would never play again. Sure enough, that door closed and I never went back. Due to metaphysical lessons I learned from this experience, I continued to search for answers.

My biggest lesson was really not so much my abilities, but more spiritual in nature. After many years, I was finally able to find my own spiritual path, which then led me to understand my abilities. I started off with my mediumship, because everywhere I lived, the place would seem to be haunte d within a few months. I started ghosthunting and soon I was faced with the same demons I let go of years prior. At my lowest point, I bought an oracle deck, The ArchAngel deck by Doreen Virtue. I started feeling such a strong connection to the Angels. I started playing with the deck by turning the cards over.

I could feel the colors, where they were placed on the deck and had quite a bit of accuracy. Then I bought a book on psychic abilities, which led me to these tests online that told me I was empathic. It finally all made sense. The spirits, the feelings things that seemed like they weren’t mine, strangers coming to me out of the blue and just handing over the life story within a matter of minutes and then the weird looks I would get afterwards due to the nakedness they felt.

It didn’t bother me though, I felt no judgement, in fact I understood exactly because their feelings felt like my own. I started going through my entire life and all the experiences I had, the ghosts, the visions, the feelings, hearing spirits, astral projection, everything. I started doing readings on things and people and was able to start getting validation with accuracy. I joined a forum that really helped me and then started doing readings on missing children.

I would send my impressions annominously to the police departments but I wanted to be part of a group of psychics that did that. I was listening to a radio show and was introduced to FIND ME, a group of psychics, law enforcement and search and rescue that helped find the missing and now am a volunteer psychic for FIND ME. I connected with the Angels alot and they became my greatest alli . On the forum, I stared doing reading after reading with accuracy and the more I read, the more I was able to trust the impressions and guidance I received and then moved into the professional circle.

What have you done to develop your abilities?

I’m more of what they call a “tactile” learning , so I am more of a hands on learner. I realized that there is alot of great information out there, however, I had to learn through experience that each ability, though there is a name and a common form to it, it really is unique within each person that is based on beliefs, passion, and their own individual way of how it flows through them. I do a little bit of reading, but this only tells me a basic idea of what it might be, but the best way for me to stay in touch with my abilities is really to continue to do readings,lol.

I will go on different forums and do them, I have a radio show where I do them and in the professional circle I do them. Staying connected to your abilities is important, but truly understanding how your abilities flow through you and your intention with them are really the most important part. How one clairvoyant see’s her impressions are going to be com pletely different then how another clairvoyant see’s. I like to see other’s and how it works in them, but for the most part, I build upon what is already within me.

Describe your skills.

I have a few abilities, my strongest would be my Empathic or Clairsentience abilities. I do have visions and I do hear guidance within. Sometimes with the hearing it will be a word or two then an explanation of what that word signifies. Sometimes it comes through as Claircognizance, and I will just know.

The way a reading works with me is usually the person will ask a question. Sometimes I just get impressions and I will give you what I receive. I do use Angel Cards, however, I do NOT give you the book version. This is important because I could pull the same card for 10 different people and get 10 different messages. The tool is really more of a visual validation for the one I am reading for more then anything. I get alot of positive responses from the card, because it gives the recipient of the message a visual validation more for them.

I connect with the person and who is involved with the situation, give my impressions of where they are at the moment and then move towards a resolution to the problem. If spirit comes through I will also give messages from their loved one, but I do not advertise this as I cannot guarantee spirit will come through. I also give messages from the Angels. As I am reading, I will say ” I see this”, ‘I’m hearing that” , &q uot;I feel this” as my abilities work interchangeably and people seem to like to know which ability is being used at the moment.

The most important is really about compassion. It’s important for me for my clients to leave with an answer, or some kind of help, hope, direction, something positive. Some problems can’t be solved over night, but there are always steps that can be taken towards the desired outcome.

Can you communicate with spirits who have passed on?

This is not a service I offer as I cannot and would not do this on demand. If they come through during the reading, I will always let you know and pass on their message as I know the importance of the message to both my client and the spirit However, due to my belief system, I feel that all spirits, have the right to choose to come through if they so desire to pass on a message, but I won’t force it or try to force it. Instead, I use my mediumship to connect with the Angels because we are like a team for you. We work together to help bring clarity, guidance or whatever your soul needs.

Are you able to turn your psychic abilities ‘on’ or ‘off’ when you want to?

No, I am not able to turn “off” my abilities but I have learned to tone them down a bit if needed. I do take some time to “set up my room” before going live which entails going into a meditation, connecting with light energy and sending that energy into the room in order to create a place of peace and healing. It is my desire to help everyone that comes into my room, and if I can’t help them with a reading due to finances or other situation, I at least want to give them a sanctuary that is filled with light energy that they can take with them. I’m a strong believer in energy, as everything is energy so by programming a certain kind of energy, in my case, peace and healing, then this energy will go to whoever needs it. So everyone who comes to me can leave with something good and positive.

What is life like living with these abilities?

Now that I understand them and how they flow through me, I couldn’t imagine my life without them! My greatest gift is really being able to connect with people and them wanting me to connect to them. Alot of people don’t usually enjoy showing this side of themselves, their vulnerable side, but they show me and they trust me with it. You can’t get a more precious gift then the experience of the true essence of a human soul.

Do you think anyone can develop psychic skills?

I do! And this is why! I believe everyone has a gift. Whether you call it psychic or not, we each were given something to give back to the world and we are given the choice on how we choose to use it. We often don’t realize what our gifts are until either someone else see’s it in us or until we begin the journey of self discovery. I love looking for someone’s gift and sharing that with them. Gifts are so natural to us that we often don’t look at them as something special, but they are, they are so precious, but moreso, they are so important. When you share this, they discover something about themselves that they may have not discovered before. And the some things begin to make sense. It’s a really good feeling.

I have been given alot of support that I haven’t on other web-sites.  I am impressed, I feel confident that we are a team to make this journey a success for both them and myself.

Do you get readings for yourself?

I do! Like my husband say’s, a doctor needs another doctor and a psychic needs another psychic. I can read myself all day long, but I will not get a different perspective, and more often then not, you need that other perspective to see the bigger picture.

It’s hard for me to find a reader that can really connect with me because I am told I’m really hard to read. Usually what I am looking for in a reader is one that can be painfully honest, but also cares about what their doing. (One of the benefits of being a Empath, I can sense their caring nature by default:) ) I don’t believe anything is a hopeless situation, and even if the news isn’t desirable, I know they will be honest, but I also know they will help me find a resolution to the issue. Nothing is ever carved in stone, so if there is a will, there is a way and I expect them to help me find an alternative way, or at least send some positive energy my way. We can’t always change what is to come, but getting a different perspective often creates motivation and ideas on how to weather the storm and continue to move your life in a positive direction.
