Interview With a Psychic: Indygo J. Muse

Describe how you first found out about your psychic abilities.

As a child I could see and feel the presence of spirits. I was told by many that I just had a wild imagination. I knew it wasn’t so because they would tell me things about people that turned out to be true, and as time passed, I could see spirits on people. Animals and babies had an uncanny attraction to me, and at age 8, I knew I was exceptionally gifted.

It was challenging as a child to be gifted in this way because I knew things far beyond my age comprehension, coining me an “old soul,” “ahead of my time,” or “flat-out crazy.” Standard religious beliefs deemed my gifts as evil, and the only person who never shunned my gifts was my mother, spiritually gifted as well. She never operated on a professional level, but she was so accurate she’d say, “If I tell you a chicken dips snuff, look under his wing for the can.”

My spiritual gifts come so naturally, they intensely bleed over into all that I do. They hold a strong presence in every aspect of my life.

What have you done to develop your abilities?

I prefer to refer to it as practice. The spiritual realm supersedes most human logic, and I train myself in trusting the Divine Source to place on my spirit what needs deliverance to each of His(or Her) children that are ordained on Divine appointment to receive from me.

Before my true life’s purpose was revealed to me, I did obtain two bachelor’s degrees in theater arts and mass communications…isn’t it amazing how The Universe works?

Describe your skills.

Well I can’t tell ALL of my secrets, but I’ll try to give a little! I first embrace the caller with a warm greeting and an acknowledgement of gratitude for choosing me. I really take the time to listen as well as feel, then I allow myself to be used to deliver truth, foretelling, love, (tough love when needed,) insight, humor and compassion.

However, I am not the same reader with every person. I use my psychic morphing gift to balance the energies presented to me. My primary tools of divination are the etherealities of my third eye, my spiritual guides, numerology, and cartomacy to confirm! I love interpreting dreams and speaking telepathically with animals. I’m great with love and relationship compatibility, family
issues, and timelines.

The truth is not always what we want to hear, but always what we need to hear to gain clarity and reach new spiritual heights. It is my honor to guide others in doing that.

Can you communicate with spirits who have passed on?

I have communicated mainly with my own transitioned relatives and friends. On rare occasions, a transitioned loved one of a caller would randomly show up in my spirit with a message. It isn’t something I can do on demand…yet.

Are you able to turn your psychic abilities ‘on’ or ‘off’ when you want to?

My spiritual gifts are so natural that I can’t turn them off if I tried! Meditations increase my spiritual state, but I have no rituals to turn my gifts on or off. I am ever happy that my gifts enhance my everyday life.

What is life like living with these abilities?

Life was difficult for me when I tried to deny that I was gifted. When finally decided to stop trying to fit with the rest of the world to be who I really am, life became so amazing! My gifts placed my life at ease by first placing my spirit at ease. It is easier to pinpoint people who have good and ill intentions for me and my loved ones.

Minor difficulties come whenever I am right about something and I don’t want to be, and every now and then I am subject to envious talk.

Do you think anyone can develop psychic skills?

I believe that everyone has a certain level of spiritual intuition, but few are truly chosen to do the work of seeing into the lives of others. There has to be a certain heightened level of insight already instilled in the individual, and the development comes in time; getting used to sharing what you see and trusting the Divine Source.

Do you get readings for yourself?

My mom is my main reader, but I am open to receive spiritual affirmation and messages from people the Divine Source sends. I can read for myself. I call on her for mostly affirmation. If I were to get a reading done, I would simply seek a reader that my spirit feels comfortable with. I am difficult to read for because my sprint is complex.

Is there anything else you would like to share about your abilities?

Just a couple of interesting facts: Many of my creative writings have come true in the future tense. Becoming a spiritual reader professionally literally dropped in my lap out of nowhere…and no one I knew personally was surprised!
