Describe how you first found out about your psychic abilities.

Most people refer to psychic abilities as gifts. One of the things you learn is at times they are not gifts, when given them in early childhood, you are confused by the night terrors. When you tried to gain clarity with them, your family thought you were crazy and suffering from a mental disorder. If someone got sick, I could see the silver cord weakening and knew their transition was soon. This happened on many occasions, and then I would hear voices, and the information was not clear to me, as I was too young to grasp it. I was fortunate to have an intuitive grandmother who told me they were “gifts”and inherited. And that I would use them at a later date. The significance of the gifts did not occur until I was 12 when my grandfather died, and he came to me in an orb just at passing.

What have you done to develop your abilities?

When you tap into your spiritual abilities you are a sponge for information, and many things came to me divinely guided so I could hone those gifts for use to assist others later.

Describe your skills.

When I read for someone, I read through energy, and most often I am told I heal the sitter as well. My specialty is reading through energy seeing the blocks, and healing through the reading. The uniqueness is reflected through the reading as suddenly spirit will give confirmations to the sitter of what is being shown.

Can you communicate with spirits who have passed on?

Mediumship is a unique skill. I have done it on demand, unfortunately sometimes there are spirits that just want to come through to give the information, other times even though you may want to speak to a dead relative sometimes they just simply have nothing to say. This disappoints some people but the awareness is that they are around you and will come in when help is needed. I have communicated with my own dead relatives sometimes they talk sometimes they are silent. My grandmother who is on the other side often comes in to speak to my clients.

Are you able to turn your psychic abilities ‘on’ or ‘off’ when you want to?

Psychic abilities do not turn off for me. They are on. There are times though you wish you could turn them off. I find meditation extremely important to keep balance. I find as they are more pronounced there are places that I cannot go to, I cannot drive by a cemetery for instance, because I hear spirits talking, and it is tiring, nor can I as an empath, go shopping during a busy time as I pick up everyone’s energy, the negative and the positive. It is constant exercise in grounding that keeps me on top of it all.

What is life like living with these abilities?

It is difficult at times to have the abilities when friends come to you and tell you a problem they are going through, and you know that verbally you are only getting half of the story, when spirit is creeping in and telling you something different and there is a balance that has to be created, in order that you do not violate that person’s space. That is one of the biggest challenges. With regard to things in life that are easier, at times I will think or analyze something I want to do and spirit comes in and says STOP. Oftentimes later I learn that warning was a blessing.

Do you think anyone can develop psychic skills?

I believe we are all born with abilities. We just have to accept and hone them. In my case my grandmother helped with this. But often there is no one in the families of others to assist them. It isn’t a mentality to me, it is a need to assist and help others that forges you on. When you see the gifts are helping and aiding others, it helps you to develop even more.

Do you get readings for yourself?

I do not read for myself, and the reason is I am too emotionally involved with my own stuff to adequately read it. When chosing a reader I listen to what they say in the first three minutes usually in that time, I can feel the reader is spot on. I am a difficult person to read for as I can block my own energy.

Is there anything else you would like to share about your abilities?

I have in groups all of a sudden spirit will come through and I will do a healing, in that healing I can enter through the crown chakra and pick up what is blocked and needs repairing and confirmation comes to these clients when I pick up ailments. I am also a medical intuitive.
