Interview With a Medium: Ann Angel

Describe how you first found out about your psychic abilities.

I was first introduced to a tarot deck back in 2003 and I haven’t looked back. Okay, that isn’t the truth. I have turned back on it but I have now been doing this full-time since 2013 when I quit my “normal” job. However, even between 2003 and 2013, I have taken the time to really develop my skills. I have gone from reading tarot cards to people online, to doing face-to-face readings for close friends, to reading customers in my local metaphysical shop, and recently, going to healing fairs and events in my state.

I grew up in a Catholic family and it was hard to really see that I had these gifts growing up but I knew there was more out there and I could explore it. So, I did. It wasn’t until I was in college back in 2001 that I took a world religion class. It opened me up to many paths of religion and thought. It was fantastic and that is when I really opened myself to all these new and exciting ideologies.

I have to say, though, when I was given that deck of tarot cards, I was given back a home. I felt so comfortable and I was at peace. I didn’t feel judged and I could be who I was. It made me feel confident and strong. I knew at that point that my life had forever changed.

I am a normal, down-to-earth girl with an extraordinary gift. I love it so much because I change people’s lives and I am able to deliver messages that are empowering, genuine and compassionate.

What have you done to develop your abilities?

I have done several things to develop my abilities.

For starters, I constantly make sure that I am using words that are healing to the soul and not hurtful to it. I graduated with a Communications degree back in 2008, so, words are important to me and the readings that I give to people. In the recent years, I have been doing Automatic Writings for my clients that come to me, especially at events. An Automatic Writing is simply another kind of reading but in written form. I have done enough verbal readings for people who bring their notebook and vigorously write what I am saying to them. So, in this case, it is a way to look at your reading over and over again. I have been told by multiple people that they gain new meaning and insight each time they read it.

Also, an Automatic Writing for me, is a way to keep up my creative writing skills sharp. I have excelled at writing since I was a little girl. The art of the Automatic Writing, for me, is special and unique. I learn more of who I am through my writings and I discover even more parts of me that I didn’t even know that existed. I am currently incorporating my Automatic Writing into my verbal readings and that is teaching me even more useful information to only enhance my gifts even further.

Describe your skills.

I get so excited to read for others. I love to explore all the energies that this world and universe has to offer to us. We are more spiritually connected than we know and I like to build on that thought with my readings. Energy and our attitude about it is everything and it means so much to all of us.

There are no coincidences in my life. I believe that everything happens for a reason and when people come to me, it is for a reason. I am a Messenger. Through my Automatic Writings, that is what I have learned most. The messages that are given to you through my readings are filled with love and inspiration. I connect to your energy, your higher self and your spirit, first and foremost. I am good at seeing paths and seeing the decisions that you are making or have recently made.

I only speak with love and gratitude for you and what you are going through in your life. We all have struggles but I have options, perspectives and opinions.

Are you able to turn your psychic abilities ‘on’ or ‘off’ when you want to?

Since I have been opening myself spiritually, I can’t turn it off when I want to. I am seeing more and feeling more than I ever have before. I am just embracing this part of me, however. I really like that I can tune into someone’s energy very quickly.

The best thing that I have been doing for the past couple of years now is connecting to my Angels. They are a loving and guiding force of power, wisdom, strength, faith and truth. They constantly whisper in my ear. I hear the same messages daily. One of my favorite: “Be that light in someone’s darkness.”

What is life like living with these abilities?

My life is extraordinary and full of so many blessings! I wouldn’t exchange my gift because I have it for a reason and a purpose for a greater good to those that come to me and to those that surround me. I mean, it isn’t easy, but who wants that? I want solutions and answers but I don’t always have to seek them. When you just quiet your mind and release it of any negative thought, amazing things happen. Miracles and magic exists within you and around you daily!

Do you think anyone can develop psychic skills?

Oh my goodness! We are all filled with a light and an awareness that is beyond our own recognition. So, yes, we all share a gift of compassion and humanity because that is what makes us human. We both have our physical selves and our spiritual selves. Most of the time, they don’t get along. However, when you open your mind and let your heart feel peaceful, changes happen. We are all spiritual beings living a human existence. We can, though, go beyond those human thoughts and ideas, and see that our awareness in spirit, light, motion and energy is fantastic.

Anything and everything is possible.

What do you like best about working with PsychicNetworkers?

The energies here are wonderful and inspiring. I am not alone and I always have someone on my side.

Do you get readings for yourself?

I am a picky person, so I get readings from people who I absolutely trust. But, just like you, you have to fit “like a glove” with a person who reads deep into you. It is a personal decision and I respect that. We all come with personal stories that we don’t always want to share with a stranger.

I am an open book when someone does connect to me. I don’t hide anything because I don’t regret any of the past decisions that I have made to get to where I am today. However, I choose not to read for myself.

If I were in an interview and you asked me three words to describe who I am, I would choose:

I am one to put things into perspective for you. I often suggest because it is your life and it isn’t up to me to “choose what is best” for you.

I love to laugh and make people smile. I love to even make people smile and laugh over the phone. I don’t have to focus on your struggles. I want and I need to focus on your strengths, loves, hopes, dreams and purpose for being here.
